Meet The OLG Staff
Karen Raborn
Director of Business Development
Karen has been doing business development for the past 7 years as well as 30+ years working in the banking and financial industry. She is a Board Member for the Seminole County Chamber of Commerce and Apopka Area Chamber of Commerce. Karen is an advocate in the fight against Human Trafficking as a Mission Ambassador for Paving The Way Foundation, Love Missions and also volunteers with the Florida Abolitionists. Karen was awarded “Volunteer of the Year” by the Orlando Main Streets Gateway District in 2017 as a result of a hotel security presentation she gave on Human trafficking which resulted in the rescue of a trafficking victim and arrest of the trafficker at a hotel near the Orlando International Airport.
In her free time, Karen enjoys bowling, classic car shows, walking, sightseeing, civil war history, motorcycle riding (aka “Wind Therapy) and is a member of a national and international motorcycle organization, Southern Cruisers Riding Club which supports St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, as well as volunteering in prison and jail ministry with the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office. She has two daughters, Kalee who is married with Karen’s first grandchild, a little sassy princess, Marlee and her other daughter, Darbee a NICU nurse at Winnie Palmer Hospital who is engaged.
Darcie Broxson
Paralegal
Darcie is a seasoned paralegal at The Orlando Law Group with over 17 years of legal experience. In 2021, she joined The Orlando Law Group, bringing with her dedication and expertise gained through her experience with several nationwide firms. Her extensive background includes handling diverse cases and providing thorough support to attorneys and clients alike. Darcie is known for her strong work ethic and dedication to her role.
A Florida native, Darcie moved to the Central Florida area to attend the University of Central Florida. She loves everything Florida has to offer, from its diverse landscapes to the numerous outdoor activities available in its natural settings. Darcie balances her career with her love for family and nature, cherishing outdoor adventures with her husband and enjoying the playful energy of their toddler, creating cherished family memories.
Cherice Fleming Togun
Paralegal
Cherice Fleming Togun returned to the legal field after working in nonprofit organization and recruitment for ten years. She worked with Central Florida agencies that serve children with special needs for the six years previous to joining The Orlando Law Group, PL and uses this medical knowledge and familiarity with regional resources to help families navigate the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) process and Social Security benefit application process.
As a mother of two children with special needs, she also understands how challenging it can be to ensure the day to day implementation of the accommodations outlined in the IEP. Ms. Fleming Togun is readily available to answer your concerns and facilitate communication between you and the school staff and is also fluent in Portuguese and speaks basic Danish and Spanish.
